Morning, morning, morning!!!!

I've had no sleep, but WTF :)

sdock10 said...

Hi,

I'm sorry that you had no sleep especially if you wanted to sleep and who doesn't want to sleep? Ya know. Maybe you'll sleep better tonight.

It's the moon, I tell ya! The moon!

Anonymous said...

I'm a rooster illusion.

Anonymous said...

And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

For old time sake :)

Morning! ^_^

I like the moon. Don't wanna sleep, especially if it's a full moon. Too pretty.

Who needs sleep anyway?

Anonymous said...

sdock10 said...

Hi RW! How are ya?

I agree. Sleep is very much overrated, but unfortunately I need some of it to function a little more abnormally than I already am.

What? Yeah, I don't know.

Anonymous said...

I believe I have hit that abnormally functioning state at the moment :).

Must be all the endorphins coursing through my veins.

Anonymous said...

...and my brain.

sdock10 said...

Endorphins, FTW!

Almost as cool as dolphins.

Childhood is what you spend the rest of your life trying to overcome. That's what momma always says. She says that beginnings are scary, endings are usually sad, but it's the middle that counts the most. Try to remember that when you find yourself at a new beginning. Just give hope a chance to float up. And it will...

It's almost a shame to smoke it. It's like killing a unicorn...with, like, a bomb.

You're growing up. And rain sort of remains on the branches of a tree that will someday rule the Earth. And it's good that there is rain. It clears the month of your sorry rainbow expressions, and it clears the streets of the silent armies... so we can dance.

I'll bet he bought those for you. I bet those were a Christmas gift. You know what I got for Christmas? Oh, it was a banner fucking year at the old Bender family. I got a carton of cigarettes. The old man grabbed me and said, "Hey, smoke up Johnny." Alright? So go home and cry to your Daddy. Don't cry here, okay?

Smoke said...

Oh nice! The Breakfast Club!

Anybody know who Jim Carroll is?

I'll give a special S&M smoochie to whoever knows!

It's not as dirty as it sounds, I promise. O_o

Yeah, you can do it. Point and shoot the damn thing. No, bud, you're jerking it. You're all like this. You gotta hold it soft, like your pecker. OK?

Good morning and WELCOME HOME FIMBLE STAR! Manchester is a lucky place to have you call it home. ^_^

Hi everyone! Today is going to be great, I can feel it! :D Somebody already quoted my favorite character from my favorite movie (Verbal Kint from The Usual Suspects) so I know this is going to be fun. :)

The Wastelands Anon, I saw you! And you quoted the lines before my almost-favorite ones. ^_^ Let me see if I can continue from memory.

When lovely woman stoops to folly
And paces around her room again, alone,
She smooths her hair with automatic hand
And puts another record on the grammophone.

I'm pretty sure that's right. That entire poem is loaded with gems. Pieces of it come to me all during the day. "Fear death by water...." "...picked his bones in whispers..." "I had not known that death had undone so many..."

'Marie, Marie, hold on tight!'
And down we went.

"They called you the Hyacinth Girl..."

Oh man, I could go on for days. :)

I have to go make breakfast, clean and feed my birds, and then go out for a bit today. I will be on more later.

Have a great day, you guys! ^_^

Anonymous said...

Mustard and Lucy Bean, where the beef are you two? O_o

Okay guys, I'm off. Catch up with you later! :)

I can't wait to post some poems and dissertations. I'm feeling my literature roots really hard today. ^_^

Anonymous said...

Oh, one more thing! "I will show you fear in a handful of dust" is another of my favorite lines. Stephen King used it a few times in The Dark Tower, one of my favorite series.

Along with a Browning quote:

My first thought was: he lied in every word.

My mind is a-whirrin'!

When I turn twenty-one, I don't want any more of this life. My mother and father will be surprised at the incredible change. It will impress them more when such a fuck-up like me turns good than if I had been a good son all along. All the past years I will think of as one big vacation. At least it wasn't as boring as schoolwork. All my bad behavior I'm going to throw away to pay my debt. I will change when everybody expects it the least.

Anonymous said...

Well, if you'll pardon my saying so, I guess it is interesting, the many ways you and I overlap and whatnot. You begin with our Daddies. Your daddy was a pastor of the New Hope Baptist Church; my daddy was a pastor of a church at Excelsior Springs. Um. You're the youngest of the three James boys; I'm the youngest of the five Ford boys. Between Charley and me, is another brother, Wilbur here, with six letters in his name; between Frank and you was a brother, Robert, also with six letters. Robert is my Christian name. You have blue eyes; I have blue eyes. You're five feet eight inches tall. I'm five feet eight inches tall. Oh me, I must've had a list as long as your nightshirt when I was twelve, but I've lost some curiosities over the years.

Look but don't touch. Touch, but don't taste. Taste, don't swallow. Ahaha. And while you're jumpin' from one foot to the next, what is he doing? He's laughin' His sick, fuckin' ass off! He's a tight-ass! He's a SADIST! He's an absentee landlord! Worship that? NEVER!

Anonymous said...

Yes, but there's just something about him. Something around the eyes, I don't know, reminds me of... me. No. I'm sure of it, I hate him.

Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television. Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit crushing game shows, stuffing junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself. Choose a future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that?

I have to tell you guys about my crazy dream. Gerard Way was in it.

So it's Thanksgiving for for some reason I'm working a job as a caterer, only it's at this place that's an exact replica of my parents' dining room and their old kitchen before they remodeled it. It looks like it, but it's not, because it's got a separate kitchen in the back with all kinds of high tech stuff for cooking. Anyway, so I'm setting the table and I have all this crystal glassware and all these fancy plates and stuff, and a big centerpiece in the middle and everything looks all nice, but I'm the only one there.

So, there's this television on and the Mets are playing in the World Series. (Man, you know that is a dream.) It's Game Two and they have just won both games, so I get all happy and I start doing back walkovers and all of this celebratory gymnastic stuff all by myself.

Then, Gerard Way comes in as I'm in mid-back walkover. He's Old Gerard, from when he seemed nice, not Mean Gerard as he is now. Or at least that's how he looks, but he's still acting all arrogant. Anyway, he comes in and he's got something in the palm of his hand. I get up and he goes over to me and he says, "I need you to save something for me."

I look at what he's got in his palm, AND IT'S A FETUS ABOUT THE SIZE OF HALF MY FINGERNAIL. It's all red and nasty and I'm like, "You're kidding me. This is a miscarrried fetus and you're carrying it around on thanksgiving. What's up with that?" Except I'm not as horrified as I should be.

He goes, "It's not dead yet, but it will be if it gets cold."

Then he explains that he needs to put it somewhere warm, so if I put all the food on the table, then the heat from the food right out of the oven will keep it warm. He wants to keep it on the dining room table and I'm like, "Dude, people are going to be here. They're not going to want to eat cranberry sauce with a fetus hanging around on the table."

He gets all huffy and he's like, "Then it's going to die!"

So I relent and I tell him that it can stay there until people arrive, but it has to stay on a napkin, and once people show up, he has to take it somewhere else. It's so small and it has no bones, so I have to scoop it up with my fingernails so that I don't hurt it. Then Gerard goes, "I have its favorite toy to help keep it warm," and he brings in this huge Great Dane with a big red dog bed, and he throws everything onto the table and he sticks the fetus under some red and black blankets with the dog.

I'm thinking, 'There's no way people can have a feast here, not with this going on. It's gross and dirty and this is every shade of wrong.' Also, I realize that his pet dog is going to roll over and crush this fetus thing so I tell him, "Look, I've got a really warm lightbulb and I'm going to put your fetus thingie under it to keep it warm."

He's like, "Sure, whatever."

I pick the fetus up and I realize that it's dead. The dog had accidentally scratched it and killed it. It's all white and not moving. I don't exactly know how to tell him this though, because I feel like he'll be really upset and something bad will happen if I tell him. So I feel really sad about this, but I move the little dead thingie over to the lamp anyway.

I look back at him--the dog and all its stuff is gone--and he's all starting to get undressed and everything and I'm like, "WTF ARE YOU DOING?!" and he's like, "I'm gonna get on the table" and I tell him, "BUT I'M NOT A DOCTOR YET! AND IT'S THANKSGIVING!"

Oh my gosh, it was the weirdest, most disturbing dream.

Anonymous said...

My old girlfriend from Oklahoma was gonna fly out for the dance but she couldn't cause she's doing some modeling right now.

Anonymous said...

Omg! What did you eat before you went to bed? Was it his fetus? I love when i dream in such detail, but sometimes it makes me feel kind of weird all day. I think that sounds more like a nightmare. LOL!

Anonymous said...

Oh wait i just read what i wrote. I didn't mean (did you eat his fetus) LOL!

Anonymous said...

It did make me feel really weird. Yeah, it was his but I honestly couldn't tell you how he got it. O_o

Good to hear that you have touched down safe and sound. Welcome home.

Hi All, bye All.

It may be predictable, but this is my best part of the whole thing:

D A 400
Datta: what have we given?
My friend, blood shaking my heart
The awful daring of a moment's surrender
Which an age of prudence can never retract
By this, and this only, we have existed 405
Which is not to be found in our obituaries
Or in memories draped by the beneficent spider
Or under seals broken by the lean solicitor
In our empty rooms
D A 410
Dayadhvam: I have heard the key
Turn in the door once and turn once only
We think of the key, each in his prison
Thinking of the key, each confirms a prison
Only at nightfall, aetherial rumours 415
Revive for a moment a broken Coriolanus
D A
Damyata: The boat responded
Gaily, to the hand expert with sail and oar
The sea was calm, your heart would have responded 420
Gaily, when invited, beating obedient
To controlling hands

The whole of the poem goes through a human experience and beyond and above; it being a wasteland that leaves nothing untouched. It's by far not a happy piece; it's dry, with no rain; it's fear, part mundane and part extraordinary.

But then by the end, the rain does come and in the thunder that comes with it, you hear these truths: that you live for that one moment; that looking for the key confirms your prison; that in the end you respond, happily, and then:

I sat upon the shore
Fishing, with the arid plain behind me
Shall I at least set my lands in order?

You leave the wasteland behind.

It gives me such a chill!

to my old age.
They make a secret place
In their busy lives
And they take me there.
They become naked
In their different ways
and they say,
"Look at me, Leonard
Look at me one last time."
Then they bend over the bed
And cover me up
Like a baby that is shivering.

Gerard should take some tips from him. (Not crazy about the video, but hey.)

And Nightingale which I can't find.

Hey gals!

I was just about to shuffle off for a shizzower!

5:29, what makes you say that? O_O

Someday? Someday my dream will come? One night you will wake up and discover it never happened. It's all turned around on you. It never will. Suddenly you are old. Didn't happen, and it never will, because you were never going to do it anyway. You'll push it into memory and then zone out in your barco lounger, being hypnotized by daytime TV for the rest of your life. Don't you talk to me about murder. All it ever took was a down payment on a Lincoln town car. That girl, you can't even call that girl. What the fuck are you still doing driving a cab?

Be back laters!

Okay, look, here's the deal. Man, you were gonna drive me around tonight, never be the wiser, but El Gordo got in front of a window, did his high dive, we're into Plan B. Still breathing? Now we gotta make the best of it, improvise, adapt to the environment, Darwin, shit happens, I Ching, whatever man, we gotta roll with it.

Hi Anon(s), Jules, Smoke, and anyone else I missed!

Anonymous said...

The poem. :) But why?

sdock10 said...

I'm lost as a bitty in high weeds as to what you 2 are talking about.

Anonymous said...

Oh, look! It seems that the poems I wrote back to some anons during past games were to "mock" them. LOL! Gee, I wonder why someone would think that? That's retarded. I was only answering them and there was nothing mean about it.

Thanks, anon trying to defend me. *waves* Hey, but it's a lost cause. :) If they really thought it was true, they would come here and say it to me. But the purpose is to make me look bad in case Mayo or SS should read it. Why? I don't know why. That's the only reason any of that stuff gets posted at Mayo's.

Hey Solly! What ya doing tonight? Did you read my crazy dream?

Anonymous said...

Oh, LOL! It's Mel over there! Mel used to talk about how she had printed pages and pages of comments. That explains it. ^_^

Anonymous said...

In fact she said the same line. "I had pages and pages of it!" Oh my gosh, how could I forget.

Anonymous said...

Guys, I told Mel top come over here if she had something to say to me; I know it would kind of spoil the mood so I hope you don't mind. I doubt she will anyway. This is for Mayo's benefit, her nonsense.

I'm going into the shower, but I'll be back in a bit. :)

Kapunua, FTW! I think she got owned! LOL!

I'm so glad you saved that poem. It got quiet in there real fast!

Anonymous said...

hey Twisted! I've saved most of my poems, and dreams, and jokes. They are all in one file. But I'd never print them out; that's a waste of paper and resources. Mel used to say that all the time though. "I KNOW YOU SAID THIS! I'VE PRINTED PAGES AND PAGES!" back when she first took the name "Mel." Too funny.

Good to read you here. :)

We're good! We were looking for you! Well, not looking, since it's hard to look around the internet for someone, but we were wondering where you'd got to.

Now, we just have to wonder about Splash.
