never are these words denied,
here they often all collide
from the early light of dawn,
as we used to, still wait on
the random poetry anons
Jack White, movies, TBS,
have you wisdom to profess?
Here, the answer's always "Yes"
Here we play, by words transfixed,
Haiku and pop culture mixed,
nothing broken, nothing fixed
Here is truth and here's creation
joy and horror, pain, elation,
in a story, small salvation
And here is laughter, here we're free
to be whatever we may be
and though others may disagree,
we greet the castle, greet its lord
and do so of our own accord
and shun the frothing, rabid horde
Be it known I'd so much rather
read my friends and all their "blather,"
on the porch here, where we gather.

Leaves are falling down
On the beautiful ground
I heard a story from the man in red
He said the leaves are falling down
Such a beautiful sound so I think you

Cause it's a long, long, long way down
This town was meant for passing through
But it ain't nothing new
Now go and show them
That the world stayed round

Listen to the sound of the world
And watch it turn

And catch you when the current lets you go
Or should I just get along with myself
I never did get along with everybody else
I've been trying hard to do what's right
