hey i adopted a cat today.
i've had 2 cats in the past but my last beautiful cat died when i was pregnant with the 5 yr old. heartbreaking. he was called eric and he was a cool cat. perfect guyliner too!! anyway this little cat has been hanging around our house for a month or so and we asked all the neighbours and they all think it's a stray.it's a mini eric which is kinda spooky!! it's been sleeping in one neighbours garage. so we let it come in our place and fed it. i took it to the vet today and its only 1 or 2 yrs old, female and healthy. she's had an injection, worming tablet and i've got flea treatment for her. she is small and friendly and the kids have named her maggie. if she had been a boy we were going to call her frankie!! even mr bloke reluctantly agreed!! i was a little gutted she was female for that reason but i'm over it now!!
so anyway i just wanted to share. the kids are thrilled to bits!! mind you the 2 yr old was grabbing her tail rather heavy handedly today!!! he will learn!
