Yesterday and last night storms and tornadoes ripped through a large portion of the South, killing 48 people-24 in Tennessee, 13 in Arkansas, 7 in Kentucky and 4 in Alabama.
We were lucky, we live in Eastern Tennessee, and the storms had broken up mostly by the time they got here. All of our friends and family are ok, but we grieve for those who were lost.
Please take a moment to remember them today.
Now, more than ever, be thankful for those you love and who love you back.

I fon't think so, Mustard. I found myself thinking constantly last night about my fave foods that contain meat and how I'd never be able to eat them agian, and that just started me obsessing. Funny thing is, when I'm an omnivore I rarely eat meat or think about it. As a one-day vegetarian, I couldn't get it out of my mind. Probably because I saw it as depriving myself.
So I'm going to continue as I was before - cutting red meat out of my diet as it doens't agree with my digestion anyway, and eating organic meat on the odd occasion that I want it. I am, however, going to be introducing more whole graisn and vegetables into my diet.
^Please excuse my atrocious spelling. It was a long rough day at work!

Funny how that works, eh! It's odd the things I find that I can do without quite easily & not miss. Like television. I haven't had a TV (or, more precisely, TV channels - I own a TV as I watch DVDs' but I get no channels) in 9 years. But tell me I'll never be able to have chicken tikka masala ever again & I'll curl up into a little whimpering ball!
