Hello, how are you today? Good, I hope. Me? I'm......Fuck, it's too early to tell. I'm awake and good so far.
The corner....It is beautiful and I miss it. I try to hurry and find my spot whenever I get inside. Maybe that's why I have been having such trouble lately finding the words and inspiration....because I am not where I am supposed to be. Do you miss me there? Do you look for me? My notes get passed there and that's where I hope they leave them for you. I swear...one day we will be there again at the same time and we'll get back to that question. I might even let you ask me another one. Until then, look over at where I should be sitting and think of me.

First and foremost, there's the news about headliners for the real versions of the fest. On Friday (January 11), organizers announced that My Chemical Romance and the All-American Rejects will top the bill at the Bamboozle Left, along with previously announced headliners Paramore, taking place April 5-6 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, California. New Found Glory, the Starting Line, Bayside, Chiodos and the Color Fred (former Taking Back Sunday guitarist Fred Mascherino's new band) and a host of others are also on the bill. Tickets are on sale now through TheBamboozleLeft.com.
Meanwhile, back in New Jersey, the lineup for the fourth-annual Bamboozle East is also shaping up. While no headliners have been announced, organizers have confirmed more than 40 acts, including Paramore, Gym Class Heroes, Cute is What We Aim For, the Academy Is ... and Straylight Run. The Bamboozle (the East Coast one) will take place May 3-4, once again at the Meadowlands Sports Complex. Single-day passes are on-sale now through TheBamboozle.com.
Organizers are also planning another incarnation of the Bamboozle Road Show, which features a bill including Saves The Day and Set Your Goals, and will head from the Bamboozle Left to the Bamboozle East, making stops in "approximately 16" cities along the way.
Ah, yes — and finally, there's the matter of the Hoodwink Festival, which a source close to the Bamboozle is calling "a fake festival ... some Bamboozle bands will be playing under fake names that will be revealed through clues and hints. It's sort of like a Bamboozle pre-show." Not much else is know about the Hoodwink, other than it'll take place on May 2 at the Meadowlands complex, and that the demurely named "Fluff My Boner" is confirmed as one of the headliners.

Chiodos = pretty decent band but they took some juvenile, petty shots at 30STM on Taste of Chaos last March. Jo-chan and I hung around after the show and Chiodos threw an impromptu party / jam session outside of their bus where they played The Lion Sleeps Tonight and everybody sang along, it was kinda fun.

I've been to the Ampitheatre and the Georgia Dome before but the coolest place has got to be The Tabernacle.
It's this old three story church that they've turned into a theater. It only holds about 2500 people and it' pretty damn awesome.
We saw Kid Rock there a couple months ago and let me say....
I thought the roof was gonna blow off.
The Used was there back in November I think but we didn't get a chance to go. Damn it man. >.<
I would love to go to a Leathermouth show. They have some catchy tunes. Murder is def my fave though.

J. and I used to live in Atlanta, and we know about The Tabernacle. We wanted to see Barenaked Ladies there, but tickets sold out in about 15 minutes!
We did see Duran Duran twice at Chastain Park and once at the new Civic Center in Gwinnett, and U2 at The Georgia Dome. Kicker is that even though there are a lot of concerts in Atlanta, you can hardly get tickets in the smaller venues.
And don't even talk about the quality of bands in Knoxville. All country, all the time, seems to be the motto. ONCE IN A WHILE, we get something different, but not much.

Yeah, we got to see Matchbox Twenty at the Lakewood Ampitheatre and I can honestly say, I didn't even get to see Rob Thomas's face.
I'm so short and even when I tried to stand in the seat, I still couldn't see.

I was PISSED!!!
I got to see Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Guns N'Roses, Skid Row and several other bands in Albany about twenty years ago. Yep, I was only about ten at the time. My Mama was an extra cool mama.
There's never any concerts in Albany anymore which is still about two hours away.
