One minute I wanted to tell him, "Fuck you! You are seriously wasting my time because you're talking about all of this shit and you aren't doing a damn thing to fix it!"
The next, I wanted to hold and tell him it would be okay, that I knew what he was talking about and that it would all be okay.
He just made me so cranky and irritable.

This all makes about as much sense to him now as it does to us. I think he sits back and laughs at our comments sometimes. He feels our pain. His heart has softened. So has mine. (Ewwww, maybe a little?)
Yes, to all of that. I think we're all on a level playing field now. Mayo "sees" us. He gets where we're coming from. We are beginning to understand where he's coming from. It's all mutual now. It's not so much a game of tug-o-war anymore. We're all giving and receiving.
It feels so much better and I'm sure he sees, though he doesn't verbally tell us like SS does, that what he has created is more than anyone could comprehend. He probably doesn't even know why either. That's kinda the best part because then we can always fall back on things happen for reasons and that, damnit, is cool.
