Meh. I should have listened to the anons. ;D Sometimes they have the right idea. Every once in a while I say, "You know, those anons have a pretty good point: this dude does not like us." Then I go, "Huh, stop being silly."

But hey, I am going in to Sloan today to visit my uncle. His surgery is over, finally. Also, I am going to see my two brothers, and one of them I haven't seen in about ten years. Oh man, I wonder if he's changed at all.

FASC, I am a little nervous, but it's mostly because my brother got really religious in the last ten years. I've spoken to him on the phone and he's gotten a little bit bibley once in a while. What if he gets all bibley? I don't know how to react when people do that. I'm not so good at the "smile and nod" thing. But I still can't wait to see him. ^_^

Don't give up completely on Mayo, Kapunua. Mayo mightn't like everything posted, but he follows freedom of speech and doesn't moderate. He wisely removed Socky's private details that were posted anonymously, and some of his own blog posts in the past, but that would probably be it.
An anon pretty much had it sussed about Mayo's personal view (title and p.s.), of the fanfic stuff being posted, as toilet plunge worthy. And this is from a guy we know who in the past has liked a little bit of the jiggamiwotzit to read every now and then.
I'm hoping he would mean the flushing reference to also include the fics posted with the bloggers names.
As far as the 'art' reference, there was a legitimate link back to the art discussion in the previous post, but loosely yes, it was also in reference to all the words written at Mayo's over the months, not just the fanfics.
It all has its place.
(But, what the hell do I know?)

He knows the why, and wherefores of art viewing/words on a technical level, and can justify it that way, but he still doesn't get why on a personal level, or have to agree with it?
