Just wanted to leave a note to the wonderful people that inhabit this blog.
I have been observing for a long time now. I see that the regulars that come here are intelligent, grounded people.
However I have also witnessed attacks on Gerard based on words expressed by him in the media.
I am not here to defend his words. Only he alone knows his intention. However I am greatly distressed by the mauling he receives for being less than perfect.
Yes, he does sometimes contradicts himself, and appears arrogant. But please consider he is a human being with thoughts and feelings. He does not go out in public and hurt people. Would you be able to withstand constant personal vilification?
I am no "fangirl", and I consider you thoughtful, astute people. He is a deeply sensitive man. I just want you to consider that before you express your opinions harshly. I am finding it very difficult to sit back, and watch this happening to him, time and time again. Do not censure yourselves, but consider kindness in your words. Thank you.

i think sometimes when we all have a bit of a go at g way we forget this is a public place. we chat here with each other every day about everything and we have all grown very close over the last nearly 5 months. we have discussed things with each other that we haven't felt able to in the real world. we have become a family.
i know we have said some harsh things about g way possibly deserving possibly not?? but it has come about as a chat between us. the reason we all came to these blogs is because we all love MCR and appreciate their muic and were genuinely concerned about gway. the reason we've stayed is because we have become friends.
sometimes we are a littler harsh like friends chatting together. most of us haven't given up on him. we are still inspired by the band and their music but people would have to be blind not to realise something is a miss.
